Kevin,
I'm a recent film graduate who wants to pursue a film career, however, I am still unaware of the kind of director that I want to become. I enjoy the movie making experience in different ways. There is a part of me that feels that dialogue and character interaction is a fundamental part of a film. I also believe, though, that art direction and cinematography play an equally important part. While I am a huge fan of your films, they are not done with much visual style. I was wondering what kind of interaction you have with the cinematographer, or if that is something that doesn't interest you as much. How much do you believe the director should be involved in those aspects of a film. Any advice or incite would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Kevin P.
