I think she fits the definition of bisexual.

My own take has always been that she started looking to women so as to not limit the chances of finding that special "someone". Perhaps she found something in girl-girl relationships that was lacking in boy-girl relationships and stopped looking for men altogether. Until Holden came along, that is.
