Us comic book fans have known for years that the once great spider man series, are exactly that, ONCE great. Even though it has some high profile names(including Romita Jr.) working the titles, it still manages to suck more on a regular basis than an Asian whore. So I say incorporate a large story into the different spidey titles and slowly destroy what's left of Parkers life. while his life is being destroyed, his crime fighting methods will become more and more violent. Then somehow incorporate a new slick villain that's going around offing some of the lower-class villains. Tie it together, throw in some other hero who knows spidey is parker(daredevil?) have a couple of small showdowns between spidey, DD, and the new villain, but never a fight involving all three. But the villain starts to get personal with spidey, he for sure knows Spideys real identity. Parker, a nervous wreck, suspects everyone around him of being this bad guy, esp. DD(or whoever). Then a couple of yet undecided plot twists later, there's a big showdown between this bad guy and spider man, bad guy wins by a close one. then whoever that other guest-starring super-hero is(dd maybe?) comes in and beats the shit out of the battle worn bad guy. finally when all is said and done, DD(or whoever) removes the baddies mask to reveal none other than peter parker(no clone). Shocked and amazed by his own actions, Parker goes into seclusion for a while but when he is really needed to fight crime, he jumps back into action. I guess after DD gives him a crazy mad beating have a sorta blood to rebirth thing if you know what I mean(......?) After that have spidey go back to his basics, but in a modren setting. spider man meets fight club, sounds kinda cool, I guess. anyone let me know what ya think. Keep in mind, I'm no Kevin Smith, but of course you already know that if you've come this far. Thanks.
