I think it's funny that while you were much more informative, you were beat to the punch by a guy who's handle is "Hamster69" That made me chuckle. But what I wanted to know was this: How/when did you learn all of the stuff you know?
I don't mean the ACE/ASC crap, but the nitty-gritty techie shit and who used what to shoot this and that. Having worked in broadcast TV production for some time now, I can tell you, once in a while I'll read a great in-depth article about the CLEO winners and the techie breakdown on everything they did, and there's always MultiMedia DV Producer, but you've got this film encyclopedia thing going on that no one I know of in TV can do. I know a guy who's like that with oldies music and Hitch films. It's kinda scary, kind of awe-inspiring and makes me damn jealous. So how's a guy get so well-informed? Are you a doctoral student or something or is it just obsessive film enthusiasiam paired with a good memory?
