Hey all,

I was just reading through some old archived stuff on the site (viewaskew.com obviously) and came across this...

"The Mediatrip website there has a short film that's a parody of Fight Club that's got a very minor Kev reference in it...More of a jab, really. Check it out if you're so inclined."

Well, allow me to retort. As the producer of said film (which for some reason this guy refuses to name--it's FILM CLUB), I can say with all honesty, respect, and love that there is no jab there. As a matter of fact, way back when we first finished the thing, I let some guys at View Askew see it specifically because of the "very minor Kev reference". Not only did they love it, I still have a piece of paper from there that reads, and I quote: "Kevin Smith IS Meatloaf!"

In other words, there's no jab anywhere in the vicinity of our project. We happen to love Kevin Smith, even if he won't come out to the Phoenix Film Festival because he's too busy shooting another film. We understand.

I guess the most important thing overall is to let you all know that I personally think (and I may be a bit biased) that you should all rush over to MediaTrip.com and check out Film Club at:
