Not so silent Bob is right he's got range and it shows in both Kissing a Fool and Mumford, but to be fair I didn't think you were Lee bashing, I just took it as an honest question becuase you hadn't seen his range. Fletch would be a very different character if Lee played it like he played Brodie or Banky (thought those were different characters as well, sublty different but different none the less) so it's a valid question. I think he could pull it off and then some. I don't think he'll get the chance to prove that, because I think Mirimax will want Affleck which is fine becuase he's great too. Although....I do hope that Lee gets it, I think it could be a career defining moment for him.
