same here. here is one thing you can do:
find out if you can telnet into your server (if you haven't used telnet, it's in your start-programs-accessories folder, more than likely, if you use windows)
if you can telnet in, odds are pretty good that you can also type "irc" for the lamest version of it ever. use the server webzone.dal.net and you'll get in.
where i get lost from there... is that i can never remember the exact name of the channel.
