View Askew being the production company and the View Askewniverse being the little world that Kevin has fashioned for himself, I think that VA5 is the end of the latter, not the former. I think View Askew Productions will probably continue to be the company Kevin runs, but that the little world he's been making all his movies in will cease to be (at least on film; it still sounds like comics, cartoons, etc. aren't out of the picture).
In other words, Kevin ditching View Askew would be like George Lucas killing Lucasfilm, whereas Kevin ditching the View Askewniverse is like Lucas not making anymore "Star Wars" flicks.
I could be wrong, but that's what I've taken away from Kev's comments.

: I know that Kevin has said that after VA5 he will no longer be making films under View Askew. How about Vincent, Bryan, Lynch, or Malcolm? All of you guys have made films under the View Askew banner. With the completion of VA5 are any of you guys gonna take over control when Kevin moves on or are you just gonna let it die? Also, will the boards remain open or will they be closed?
