Has anyone ever compared CHASING AMY to ANNIE HALL. I mean, both these films are the same, talking about the truth about relationships and infidelity and has some really great sex jokes.

And if not, may I be the first. I saw AMY before ANNIE, but I looked at ANNIE and thought that it was a whole lot similar. The couple doesn't walk off into the sunset in the end, there is a lot of talk about sexual disfunction and infidelity, plus it had one realy killer sex joke.

(They're talking about some stupid college class she's taking.)

Alvy: What's the difference? It's all mental masturbation.

Annie: Oh, yeah. Well, finally we get to a subject you know something about.

Alvy: Hey, don't knock masturbation. That's sex with someone I love.

And also, from all the Nora Ephron romantic comedies I've been subjugated to as well as THE ENGLISH PATIENT, ANNIE HALL and CHASING AMY, are probably the best two romantic comedies EVER.

P.S. To everyone else, yes I know that I posted this before, but since my original message was on for only about 2 days, I'd like this to last longer.
