Other than Kevin Smith, which I assume is on your list of favorite film-makers if you are in here, who is everyone's favorite film-makers? I'll start to show how this works for all you dim wits out there.
I like Spielburg (duh), other big people im not mentioning, Luc Besson, Michael Bay (the joys of mindless action, and Sean Connery), The Wachowskis (the matrix and a movie with both lesbians and the mob, Bound which is really good), Mel Gibson for giving us Braveheart, Kirosawa for Seven Samurai (only movie by him Ive seen, yet its enough), George ... something (the mad max guy not lucas biznitches), Ridley Scott (for more than just Gladiator), anyone remotely related to james bond except the guy who made On Her Majesty's Secret Service (double crossing bastard, taking things I like and giving me George Lazenby), John Woo (for doves and sparks), Mel Brooks (he is the man, just the man, hahahaha, a black sheriff???), and Wolfgang Peterson (just see Das Boot to learn why, great great movie).
I just thought that only one of these is a comedy director, wierd. I an action junky so that explains it. Plus I rarely learn the names of comedy directors cause many pop up for just one movie. The few I know by name are my elites, and I can only think of 2 at 2 am. Oh well, who wants to go eat a millionare with me?

The Man of 1000 faces (cause i never sign my name the same twice)

Its good to be the king.
