: Kevin easily- Now hold on a minute...

: To be perfectly honest, I enjoy Kevin's dialogue more so than Quentin's. Does this mean Kevin's dialogue is better than Quentin's? No, not at all...but for me, it is much more enjoyable due to Kevin's emphasis on the comedic aspect. I prefer comedies myself to any other movie (If it's good and both movies are comparable). Realistically/Overall, Tarantino's work is so centered/emphasis on the dialogue, that it is better in most people's eyes. I can see this and also believe Tarantino probably takes/has more time in this area than Kevin does (Just my opinion, I may be wrong here). In Quentin's movies, he likes to play to his strengths and bring in help from time to time from others (Rodriguez comes to mind for visuals/explosions etc) so it stands to reason he has more time to work on dialogue/improv's. Money can also be a factor= More time...Kevin's work seems to be more limited in both areas, so he may be working at a slight disadvantage here. Not a big difference between the two in this area, but in all honesty I can see where Quentin gets the nod here. Unless his work on dialogue isn't all his own doing, which is possible. I know from what I've read, Kevin is very particular about this and doesn't like much change/add-libbing to his work if any. I'm not as familiar with Quentin's philosophies. If Dogs, Dawn, Rooms, Fiction, Brown etc is basically all Quentin (Exception of course would be Rodriguez done pieces in 4 Rooms, maybe Dawn? Yes I realize we have book based stories/rewrites here as well, I'm assuming the dialogue was changed some as I would expect Kevin to do with Fletch Won), then he gets the slight edge here..."Fletch" PS- Although I still prefer the guy going for the laughs myself, "apples and oranges" said this one best IMHO...Two GREAT Writers in any case
