:I laughed during the "37 dicks" scene....especially when Dante says "Try not to suck any more dicks on your way through the parking lot!!"

David,

'Clerks' has plenty of juicy lines in it. I love my lines. I am a sucker for lines. Once I start w/ the lines I can't stop, so don't get me going.

But seriously, when I watch 'Clerks,' I'm thinking, "Man, that one was priceless, they've gotta be tickled at that." It's like, score another.

You know, I like that movie so much because it's so accessible (for lack of a better word) to me. I can imagine myself writing something like that, yet it is a level above a many lines more than what I think I could do. It's got that extra game to it. I think Kevin is extremely smart. The way he thinks has the technical aspect to it that I detect in other great writers. Like Mamet (David, and I am not making any kind of comparison either way). You are kinda 'with em' up to a point and he loses you. You start thinking, "Oh man, he really pulled some shit off right there. Wow!" What I'm saying is, it has an accessibility (is that a word?) about it, but the brilliance shines through it and gives it that mark of someone who with a powerful talent.
