an interesting perspective on how fantasies become reality. Point being, that perhaps by making a movie like "Dogma," Kevin Smith actually ENCOURAGES a greater openness and broader worldview among practicing Catholics (at least, among those who can set aside their prejudices long enough to actually watch the movie.)

In a similar vein, people who watch a TOTAL PIECE OF CRAP like "Blair Witch" may indeed become afraid of witches and the unknown--although for the record, every single person in the theater where we saw it thought it was a total rip-off and a waste of time.

Really, to compare "Dogma" and "Blair Witch" is like comparing Swiss chocolates with dog poop. (Only watching my dog poop is a hell of a lot more entertaining than "Blair Witch.")
