...(by counter-example) you can give a guy a "foot in the door," but he's got to have talent to be asked inside.

If you "vouched" for somebody, and they could not deliver the goods, then they'd get nowhere.

I'll admit it..I'm a Lynch booster.

As to your Playstation-Only creedo, I understand. That was me, until I got a Dreamcast as a surprise birthday gift. I swore never to abandon my beloved Playstation, but damn me for a fool and a hypocrite, the dust now settles on my once favorite video-game child. The prodigal son of SEGA has returned in the Dobbin household, and I neglect the other shamefully.

I'll pick up SPIDER MAN, though, on your say-so. I saw the Strategy guide, and it looks great, with the excepion of a very ugly polygonal Mary Jane. From everything I've read, the way the camera follows Spidey as he goes from floor to cieling has to be seen to be believed.

But it *is* wise to have a one system only policy. Between the TV, the DVD player, the VCR, the Playstation, the Dreamcast, and the stereo reciever, I have a grand total of precisely One Bajillion remotes, and a three-way RCA input A-B-C switch, all of which leaves my decidely non-geeky wife befuddled when she wants to adjust the volume on the TV.
