It's been mentioned that Guin Turner "consulted" with you on Chasing Amy. I believe it was said that she helped you out with the "lesbian stuff". What I am wondering is how much input did she have in the scene where all of Alyssa's lesbian friends get all pissed off that she's in love with a man. I'm wondering how true to life that is. I mean granted everyone in every possible group you can think of is going to vary. People are, after all, individuals. However if Guin said that lesbians, as a general rule, would be upset upon finding that one of thier own had gone back to the other side, I'd likely believe that's the case. I'd wish it weren't the case, just as I wish that straight people upon finding that a friend or loved one was gay wouldn't freak out, but if Guin says that's representative of the lesbian community I'll believe it.
