Well Clerks took place in 93-94, Mallrats was the day before, and Chasing Amy was two years after. As pointed out Dogma takes place a few days after the end of Chasing Amy. However, it is impossible to determind when Dogma officially takes place because know one knows (except Kevin, and probably Vincent cause he knows everything) how long Chasing Amy was. It could a been a year, a few weeks, a few months. My guess though is that the end of Chasing Amy was circa 97. Hope that helps.
