Blade was great. Had a real Hong Kong action film feel to it. Looking forward to what Stephen Norrington can do with Ghost Rider!!
: Ok, I know there are comic book fans here, so I have to ask. What is your favorite comic book movie in, say, the last five years or so. There has been XMen, Blade, Mystery Men(hehe), Virus, and probably others, but I cant think of them. Just give me some thoughts.
: Please dont just diss Mystery Men. Personally I kinda liked it. Of course I like some wierd movies, but it just had a style I kinda liked. That and Claire Forlani is hot.
: My choice would have to be Blade with XMen in a close second. For the record, I had really high hopes in XMen, and for the most part it delivered. I felt it lacked something, but it would have taken a whole lot for it to outdo my expectations. I saw Blade with kinda low expectations and just loved the first scene. The story was interesting and the action wasnt too overwhelming. They actually put a story into it. The action scenes were incredible and just added to an already cool movie. And the boomerang is cool.
