: : : "How much wood, would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck, could chuck wood!?!"
: : : Now, ponder that little meaning of life for a while!!
: : Sadly enough, some scientist took the time to figure this out several years ago. He estimated it at around seven hundred pounds, give or take.
: : What's sadder still is the fact that I know this.
: : Damn...
: The way i see it, it would be an infinite # wouldnt it? well, no, it matters on the average life span of a wood chuck was that number in a day, and hour, a week, amonth, a year, etc. Its sad that i wanna knoew this.

...I'm about ready to piss myself laughing. No offense meant to any of you that have posted to this. I just think it's funny. The guy who came up with the figure of 700 pounds +/- did so by measuring the amount of dirt a woodchuck burrows out when making its home in the groud. Most woodchucks remove an average of 700 pounds of earth when digging out its burrow.
I get the feeling this study was funded through the government.
And if anyone is wondering, I'm a demon at Trivial Pursuit. Heh.
