I'm a senior in high school and for a project in my drama class, We have to get into groups of 5 and pick a film director. We have to get info on the director and we have to get together and watch some of his movies (That's the coolest part). Well, I think you know who I picked. It's cool, because each person in the group has a different degree of Kevin Smith exposure. One's only seen Amy, one's only seen Clerks, one's only seen Mallrats and Dogma, one hasn't seen any, I've seen 'em all, of course. Then one of us has to assume the role of the director we chose and direct the other group memebers in a selected scene (titled "Bus Stop").
Kevin, if your reading this (I'm sure not a single phrase has been repeated on this board as much as that one), could you give me some tips on how to be you, or direct like you, or something, anything, that would be helpful in this little educational venture of mine? Anything a fan such as myself may not know?
Oh shit, I gotta go fix my dad's office chair (don't ask). Many thanks to all those who reply,
