If you're actually serious, and you didn't like the story, then imagine the movie without it. If that scene had been filmed, but cut, we'd have several people asking "Why's it called 'Chasing Amy', was there a character named Amy that I didn't see?". The story was an integral part of the movie, it tied everything that came before it, and everything that came after it together in a nice little bow.

: If you're actually serious (I hope you aren't, but people have posted more idiotic things) why not point out the fact that Holden meets of with one of the Hicks', and the Angel of Death and says nothing himself. Or maybe you could explain how Holden could be best buds with Banky since they were little kids in...somewhere that's not The Cheese, and be best buds the Angel of Death for the past several centuries in Wisconsin. While we're on the subject, what about Shannon Hamilton? Alyssa fucked him, and Holden, but they're played by the same actor!! If you were serious about this post, I hope you have learned a lesson.
