Since schools are sadly lacking in their teaching of grammar I would like to take this opportunity for a little lesson. I appologise if this bores or angers anyone

:So heres my second Idea: I want to go as a angel.

the right way to say this would be "I want to go as AN angel"
The rule being that if the word following begins with a vowel use AN and if it begins with a consonant use A. For example:

AN angel
A muse
A demon
AN abortion clinic worker
A pot dealer
