: thats not bad (very not bad). ;) i have a real question though, in writing a screenplay whats the best way to get through the process in your opinion. either a: bang out the story while meticulously (sp?) editing along the way or b: banging out the story and then going in full blown gonzo and editing the 'finished' product? i've been kicking around an idea for six months (hard core procrastination) and am finally underway...loosely based on my tenure in radio (titled Boardmonkey). any input would be appreciated.
Definitely bang it out as it comes to you and finesse the damn thing later. Most of my best scenes were written real fast like so I could get the idea out and then I went back and fleshed it out.
And for writer's block. Go for a walk. At night. I swear, that always helps me.
