Kevin,
I hope these questions aren't too personal but thet've been bugging me for ages and I hope you have the time to answer them. I don't think they're too personal as you seem to be quite open in your subject matter (supposing that I am right (and I better be right as I can't stand being wrong (only kidding, I'm very open minded, for god sake I'm gay (note to self: stop using fucking bracketts)))).
Ok, firstly I have a theory on beards. Both "Chasing Amy" and "Clerks" have main characters that have beards. They both have a certain philosophy and realism to them so I was wondering if experiances in them were in any way linked to your personal life?
That's not to say Mallrats and Dogam don't raise issues, because they certainly do, issues that need to be raised at that. It's just that "Chasing Amy" and "Clerk" seem to be based a lot more on personal experience. After all "Chasing Amy ended with "I finally had something personal to say". And that speach from Silent Bob. Come on, It must have personal issues.
Cheerie Bye (Not all Brits speak like that, my grandfather was in the RAF).
Joe.
