Hello Mr.smith and crew,
First off, I am a fan but i'm not a butt kisser.I'm just your everyday person like yourself or Jay.And i hope i'm not being to forward for you to answer this question or to be kicked off the message board.
Second, i'm not a reporter or any of it's like, just a person wanting to know what your views on this paticular subject.
I've been "user friendly" for many years, and seeing that Jay and yourself portray the same type of "user friendly" people in your films, off the record and on a more personal nature,I was wondering where you stand on this particular subject?
I'm only asking because from alot of the thought you put into your films,I, myself, value your opinion. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. The film i liked the most was Chassing Amy.It was well thought out and i particularly like the film being based on more of a personal level.(And I thought it was intreaging how you tossed on the tie in's for the other films through toppic of discussion.)
If this isn't a the kind of letter you personally don't take to kindly discussing, i'm sorry for waisting your time.
Thank you for your time. And please keep making the films that not only make us think, but can make us cry and laph at the same time. And maybe next time I will be an a-hole and trash one of your films.(Dogma comes to mind now that i think about it.It was a great story and it made me think...but one of the things i thought most was why did you try to make so many special effects in the end.It looked kind of b-rated if you ask me.But we all look back sometimes and wish we could have done it different but it was the best we could do at that point and time.)
Well it's late and i should go to bed.(Give Jay a SNOOTCH for me and good luck on your films and comic shop.)
Thanks for making me think
Befor I do...
