I haven't taken that close a look at it, but I don't think it's unreasonable to think they actually got some of those "Magic Eye" pictures for filming. The picture normally looks like a mish-mash of shapes and colors. But if you adjust your focus, a 3D shape materializes out of the chaos.

I have one that's a picture of Christ on the cross. It's very detailed, it also has a small picture of his birth (the manger scene) and his ressurection (the empty tomb) in the bottom corners left to right respectively. You can see into the tomb to the stone slab they laid his body on. The detail is amazing considering this detail I mentioned is only a tiny fraction of size of the entire picture.

So it is very possible that the picture IS of a sailboat. But you can't see it on film. The angles and lighting just aren't right.

: : Yo! Kevin I have a Question: In Mallrats Ethan Suplee (William)was looking at a picture, you know the one with the sailboot. Was there realy a sailboot on the picture? (if someone els could awnser this question please,I know It's not the coolest question but I just wanted to know if there is a sailboot or not)

: : sorry if I sended this message two times

: Nope, no sailboat. We paused it on a DVD and it is a bunch of geometric shapes, I think.
