"Mallrats" really IS a kids movie!

I was reading a little side note about Jason Lee that was included on a big picture of him I cut out of some magazine, which said that he got his start in some of Kevin Smith's films, like Chasing Amy, but had now moved on to acting in more "grown-up" movies.

So I guess that means I can let my 3 year old cousin see Mallrats or Dogma. I guess that Mallrats DID contain a lot of juvenile humor (I mean, it's not like you would ever see the stink-palm move in a Peter Sellers movie or whatever), but I thought it was kind of dim of the writer of that sidenote to not consider the more serious aspects in Chasing Amy and Dogma.
