I dunno - my college had the most antiquated production equipment in the world (of course, now that I graduated, they went digital) so maybe you wouldn't have a problem.

Good luck!

: : : Not sure if this is the place for my question...

: : : Any thoughts on recording sync sound on DAT, tranferring to fullcoat for editing, transferring to a multi-track digital recorder, either for reference for for the actual mix, then creating and mixing an effects and music track on the digital multi-track recorder? Someone mentioned that the sync might drift over the course of a feature. Any thoughts, warnings, etc.?
