I just spoke with Mindy, the manager at the Holiday Inn Tinton Falls. If anyone was curious how the "block" of rooms work... here's the lowdown. They try to group everyone together, of course many people will have various requests, (ie. two beds, one bed, smoking, non-smoking) so they will be grouping those individuals together in their own block. All the "little blocks" will be in the same vicinity.
Now, if you booked your room/rooms through an online service (ie. Expedia, Travelocity, etc.) please contact the Holiday Inn asap (800-253-7739) to check your room type (mine was no where near right) and have a note put into the reservation stating you wish to be in the "View Askew" group. Also, during your call request your confirmation #. This will be nowhere in your paperwork if you booked online. It is a neccessity to get into your room upon arrival.
Any further questions feel free to ask!
