We here in the Austin film community were saddened to hear that you had chosen LA as your location for shooting VA5. We knew that you were seriously considering Austin as a location, and are quite surprised with your choice. I am quite familiar with your distaste of LA and know that “Ratface” and other guys from your company were all for Austin when they were here visiting. Could you let us in on the details behind your decision?

Austin is such a wonderful place to film. The crews here are great, and everyone was so enthusiastic about being able to work on your new project. Austin has a unique “independent spirit” much like your movies. It would have been a perfect match.

Well, I was just curious about your decision to go to “Hell-A” (as you call it). Please don’t mark Austin off your list for future projects, because you are always welcome!
