This is one of the most intelligent first posts I've ever read :)
Try Amazon.com for European videos. They have international sites and they might have a copy of the video.

God bless the Bill of Rights!
: I was in Budapest for a conference on international Debate. I stayed up late partying and talking to an incredible bunch of folks from all over the globe (South Korea, Slovenia, Yugoslavia, Romania, Poland, Japan). We talked about heavy metal, debate, drugs, music and everything else you can imagine.
: One of the things we talked about was movies. Most of these folks had seen a lot of US movies & almost everyone had seen a Kevin Smith flic or two. One woman Olga, from Poland who is a University student in Lodz was a *huge* fan.
: She wanted to know all about Dogma because it is banned in Poland. I was floored . . . I guess because of the significant Catholic feelings, the film is banned. Seemed incredible at the time, just as we were sharing all this incredible conversation, that it just felt frustrating.
: I told her that I'd try to ship her a copy so she could see Dogma, but she reminded me that Poland (and most european countries) use a different kind of VCR-tape. Does anyone know (at View Askew or otherwise) where I could find a european-style copy of the tape?
: thanks, maxwell
: ps. I thought Dogma was a positive(although slightly irreverent) piece about Catholicism . . .
: pps. first post -- be nice.
