Good lord, I'm really amazed by how much debate rises from the smallest of
issues.
When Kevin previously mentioned that he got like over a hundred emails
asking about the monkey title and it's possible connection to Suzanne...I
mean...geez...
I know a lot of you people have a LOT of time on your hands, but aren't
there better ways of spending your insomnia-driven hours than blabbing the
first silly thought that pops into your head on the board? Granted, a
decent number of you bring up good questions and post material worth
reading and maybe even chuckling over, but the rest of you...
My brain hurts just thinking about how some of you toss your freedom of
speech around like it was a handful of feces. Are you starving for
affection? Desparate to get a table scrap of commentary from one of the VA
folk? Hoping to get noticed by one of the fine folk at VA that you've
decided to place on Mt. Olympus? Maybe even (gasp!) get in well enough to
be an extra in a movie?
Sigh...
Hey, I'm a fan like the rest of you, and I'm not here to suppress the good
'ol 1st Amendment. But this one time I really felt like venting. Kevin
includes the word "monkey" somewhere and riots break out. Man, it really
makes me laugh...
Oh by the way, here's my little theory on the title... I believe there was
once a phrase that went something like "get this monkey off my back."
