The summaries are put there for a reason. The explanation of the summaries says "The summaries are a list of answers to frequently asked questions which we have placed online to avoid cluttering up the board with reposts" or something to that effect. One would suspect that the newbies would read them before posting.
You don't need to read them all in one shot, rather, if you have a question about something, hit the summaries first and see if it's there before posting it like I do. It's really not that hard, and will save everybody headaches in the future.
