: Thanks for the kind words. I THINK "unsettling freakin' clown" was about what I was going for, considering Vulgar and how he gets screwed in the back seat of his Volkswagon ;)
: I really didn't think I'd be the only clown... if I was able to add to the flavor/atmosphere of the event, then wonderful! Because one reaction I had to V2K was that it was lacking some of the spirit of V'98. For the first timer it was probably a fantastic event, but as a semi-veteran of these things, having been to the first thon, and the Diabetes-benefit screening of Dogma last year, and meeting Kevin a couple other times (a signing at Golden Apple Comic's in LA in April '99, plus originally meeting Kevin and Mewes at the original stash in August '97) there was some novelty missing from this event, for me. Or maybe I was just disappointed they didn't show VULGAR (it was the freakin VULGARthon after all!). Or maybe I was pissed that I got a parking ticket. Or maybe I was upset cause somebody behind me spilled a soda on the floor and my bag got all sticky.
: But one cool thing was getting to meet and hang out with some other cool fans, particularly Scheuller Steve/Bob, whom I'd never met before, but we hit it off pretty good and talked all day. And I'm not usually the type of person to take such an instant liking to other people.
: I got a number of friendly comments from the other fans, and that was nice, and it was very cool when Kevin singled me out after the break saying that I deserved mad props. Though I wasn't quite sure what he meant when he said that I was "the saddest person in the theater." Did he mean that because they weren't showing Vulgar? Or was he just joking?
: It was funny too when Lynch said I was scaring him during the BHD Q&A.
: You know what? I actually burnt the tip of my [clown] nose smoking a cig. Oops. :)
