37?

Ok...before you flame me, I've read the summaries and don't see mention of it....although I'd imagine that this question must've been asked at some point.

So here goes...anyone know the answer? Vin? Kev?

Obviously "37" is a number that will forever live in infamy for View Askew. Other movies since have used it as an homage. But the question is where did Kevin get "37" from? Or is it just a number he came up with and the rest is history sort of thing? I only think of this because in watching "The Hudsucker Proxy" disc last night, I kept noticing their repetitive use of "37," which of course struck me as interesting, especially since they were both made (Clerks and Proxy) at roughly the same time.
