Nobody knew he was a child molester in the beginning did they? And after the movies started becoming good property they just kept making them and gave him some shitty back story (that they will probably change in a moments notice, a la Halloween). And yeah I agree, Drug dealers they are but obviously they have been toned down a hell of alot. I mean Jay obviously still smokes the shit as in Dogma.
