Don't know about the ESU appearance (it sucks being young and not having a lisense), but as for the GWH 2 stuff in VA5, check out news askew. There ia an article about it ( though it looks like a big blank space, you have to scan over it since it's a huge spoiler) and then Kevin posted about it. All of this is confirmed.
