I know a lot of people, outside of the board, who know who Jay and Silent Bob are. As a matter of fact, outside of this board, most people know Kevin as Silent Bob:

Me - Have you ever seen Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, or Dogma?
Random Guy - I've seen Dogma.
Me - Well you know Kevin Smith?
Random Guy - Who?
Me - Silent Bob.
Random Guy - Oh yeah Jay and Silent Bob rule!
What's the point your asking? It is true that outside of this board there are very few die hard KEVIN SMITH fans. But Dogma didn't gross what was it 30 million dollars just because people on this board saw it 50 times each. There is a fan base outside of this board, it's just not as die hard. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that VA5 attracts more attention if it has either Jay and Silent Bob, or Bluntman and Chronic in the title.
