For quite some time now, I have been advocating to my friends how much more fun life would be if everything we did was accompanied by appropriate (or even inappropriate) sound effects. For example, I would be a hell of a lot fitter than I am now because I would break into a run whenever possible so I can hear the fabulous drum-like sounds that cartoons have whenever people start running. However, I would also stop pretty quickly so I could hear the equally fabulous screeching tyres effect.
Every door I slammed would have an echo like thunder. Every car I drove would either sound like the Double Zero from Wacky Races, or the Ring-A-Ding Convert-A-Car driven by Professor Pat Pending (with the slight bubbly sound), depending on my mood.
I would also get into fights all the time, because every time I hit someone, it would sound like it does when Fleegle from the Banana Splits bangs his hammer down during meetings. I could then run away (see above).
Anyway, I was pleased that Kevin used this same kind of device in his films, like when Jay was doing Wolverine's Beserker actions in Mallrats, or Silent Bob steaming past the security guards. I'm hoping that if Bluntman and Chronic feature heavily in this movie, all their actions could be accompanied by cool sound effects, even if there aren't the cool "BIFF!" and "CRUMP!" graphics from the original (and best) Batman film.
