Right now Kevin's working on Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and may not get to Fletch for a while. He's pushing for Jason Lee, though, to be Fletch, and the studio wants someone with more name value. Kevin said that if the studio doesn't give in and let him use Lee he won't end up doing it.
There are a few projects Kev said he is thinking about doing after JASBSB, BEFORE Fletch, so he may (this is just me guessing here, Kevin didn't say this) put Fletch off and do the other ones first in hopes that Lee will take off while all this is going on.
He has a few big roles coming up, opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tom Green, and Tom Cruiz, so hopefully he'll take off soon.
Later,
Matt
: I'm a fan of yours, not major, but I bought "Previously Viewed" copies of Mallrats and Clerks, and I plan on getting Dogma as soon as I can. It reflects a lot of the ideas about religion I've grown into over the years.
: I'm a real fan of Gregory McDonald's though, and I'm only missing one of the Fletch books in my little library. I was wondering if you started on your script for "Fletch Won" because I just read about your involvement on your site, and how busy you are. I just wanted to throw out the idea that with the election being the way it is, "Fletch and the Man Who" would be a pretty good one to get out first. Also, I was wondering if you were going to keep in the part of him never picking up his medals?
