: Anyhow, the flick kicks ass. I liked the film as a whole more than I
like Drawing Flies, although the idea and originality behind Drawing Flies
to me is more lasting.

---They are apples and oranges. Personally I prefer Drawing Flies tenfold.

: Anyhow, I thought the movie was cool as fuck,

---Thanks!

and I am disturbed by the parallels in my relationship with my girlfriend
to the one that cole and (fill in the blank) had.

---God...I'm sorry...How horrible!......That Angie sure was a nasty bit of
business...Onscreen and off.

: But I got a question. What up wit' the ending? I just kinda was like
"Ah, they're all happy and I'm wearing an apron talking to Silent Jay.
Peace I'm out!" It was like, build.... build... build... END!

-----It's funny...and really embarassing...But I was recently watching the
"Don't Look Back" DVD and me and Ed Burns both ended our films the same for
the exact same reason.....

Influenced by the songs of Bruce Springsteen .....The notion that nothing
is more liberating than a car , a full tank of gas and the open road.

Clean slate.

I am such a schmuck!..

I added the Coda of Breckin and Jay in the snow after we shot the film 'cos
I wanted the lead to suffer for leaving his friends behind...Thus smashing
the Springsteen idealistic bullshit and showing that rock n roll liberation
leads to dishes.

all the while liberating myself fom Ed Burns comparisons.

Thus

Saving myself

: Still a rad-I-cal film. Congrats (even though I'm a little late on
sending this comment).

--Thanks Nate...I really appreciate it...
