O.K., yes, I've read the summaries and read the board with some frequency. But I have a question nobody has addressed yet, and I'm hoping it's not just a goof in the script.

In the train scene, Rufus recognizes Bartleby. Loki and Bartleby recognize Rufus. Rufus has been in Heaven for about, oh, 1,960 years. Give or take. Bartleby and Loki got kicked out after the Plagues. Long before Rufus' time.

...so...how do they know each other? I can see Rufus knowing the Angels, just because, well, you can probably see a lot from Heaven. But how do the boys know Rufus? Maybe Rufus has been back to Earth before. But even so...why would he go to Wisconsin?

I dunno...any theories?
