I posted this on the last Board thinking it was a pretty weak theory but now I am starting to wonder:
Jay & Bob, after the events in Dogma, go on a Road Trip to find John Hughs & kick his ass about the whole Shermer, Illinois thing. They track down various cast members from Hughs' movies in their attempt to locate him.
Don't forget, Anthony Michael Hall was on SNL for about 10 seconds too.
