... to your mother? And Mr. Crowe, too.

Mr. Lee:

Excellent to hear rehearsals are going so well; this is pretty high on my list of movies to see in the coming year/year and a half. I've pretty much dug everything that Mr. Crowe has put down the proverbial pipeline since "Say Anything..." (I'm too young for "Fast Times"), and, seeing as how I've been a fan of yours since "Mallrats" (though I've got to say that it was in "Dogma" and, especially, "Mumford" that you really won me over), I'm more than just excited about this upcoming collaboration between the two of you. Especially given the triumph that was "Almost Famous." You, sir, were at your peak, I think.

If you were bored and inclined to indulge a newbie, I'd be interested in hearing anything you had to say about Cameron Crowe's style as a director. I've been interested in him ("interested" being an incredible understatement) since "Say Anything..." and am kind of baffled by my inability to really uncover anything. It wasn't until before "Almost Famous" premiered that I'd even seen a picture of the cat. He's an enigma to me, and any light you could shed, especially his style on the set, would be of great interest and incredibly appreciated, sir.

Thanks, and good luck! May your next outing be prosperous, fulfilling, and enjoyable.

Regards,

Kevin
