I'll tell you why I started smoking, at the age of 20. Because nicotine GETS YOU HIGH! It won't get you high if you've been smoking for years, but when you first start out, just one drag can give you a buzz for 5 minutes. After smoking for about a week, only your first cigarette of the day will give you a buzz. After smoking for about a month, you won't get the buzz unless you skip a day or so.
