: Ok. I was a good little boy and I read the FAQ section.
Good boy. Here, have a buscuit. Liver flavoured!
: 1: In the opening scene what is God humming? My girlfriend and I are pretty sure it's either "Ode To Joy" by Beethoven, or Handel's "Messiah".
Ode to Joy.
: 2: Is Chris Rock's character name of "Rufus" an homage to George Carlin's similarly named character in "Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure", and "Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey"?
Nope.
: 3: When Jay introduces himself and Silent Bob to Bethany what exactly does he say. I can make out... "I'm Jay, and this here's my [unintelligible] life mate Silent Bob."
Heterosexual. Already been answered.
: 4: When Serendipity is railing against the "inaccuracies" in the Bible what does she say after "A woman asks for the head of John The Baptist". I can make out... "Read that book again some time. Women are painted as big a [unintelligible] as the Eqyptians and Romans combined."
No clue. Everything Salma Hayek says in that movie isn't understandable.
: 5: Ok. We know it's by God's decree that Angels can no longer imbibe alchohol. But can they consume food and other substances? Or to be more specific are they able? My girlfriend holds the view that Bartleby is spitting chewed popcorn into the other container because as they have no anus and can't defecate he can't really eat. I'm not entirely sure, because until she suggested this view I just figured it was his polite way of dealing with nasty unpopped kernels.
No eating, drinking, etc.
: 6: This relates to five. Loki obviously is faking taking a hit off the joint Jay passes to him. Is this a Matt Damon thing, or a character thing?
Loki thing. No drugs of any kind either. Matt's not THAT bad an actor.
: 7: After arriving at McMooby's (or whatever the "real" name of the place is) Rufus is seen wearing a coat and what looks to be a McMooby's uniform. How did he acquire them? Is this something that was in the film but cut?
Yeah...dumpster. Been answered.
: 8: Have too many people yet pointed out the fact that in the pre-slaughter scene at the church, after Bartleby rips his clothing open to reveal the chest plate, when he turns back to yell, "DO IT!" at Loki the clothing is unripped?
Pointed out. Move along.
: 9: Was the whole thing with the "Awesome power of God's true voice" something that was inspired by Kevin's take on the Bible? Or was it a good old fashioned homage/swipe on Marvel Comic's character of Black Bolt?
No clue whatsoever. Sorry.
: 10: Bit by bit, most notably in the Jay and Silent Bob comic series and in Dogma the issue of Jay's sexuality has been brought into the light. It has been made fairly obvious that Jay is if not Bi-Sexual, at least open to experimentation. I am curious if this is something that will be further explored in VA5 or a future comic? Is this an aspect of Jason Mewes personality as well? If so is he comfortable with essentially announcing this to the world in such a public way? If not is he comfortable with a character who is in so many ways based on him developing aspects to himself that he does not share?
I was reading my "clerks: The Lost Scene" book the other day and I finally figured out that "manholes" was a gay bar. I read everything over, and I figured out that everything had a double meaning. So anyway, to answer your question...no clue. He did announce "I'll fuck anything that moves!", but then go on to call Silent bob a "fucking faggot".
Sorry about my typos and lack of clear sentences. Very tired and overworked.
