and it was fabulous, just fab. all but one of the member of "the state" was there. everyone but kevin allison, who had to goto cincinatti because of his grandmother's death. michael ian black said that she died because she found out that kevin was gay. oooooh...
so each member introduced their fave skit. i wasnt a huge fan, so i dont remember the names of some of them. but here's a partial list:
* the jew, the italian and the red haired gay
* porcupine racetrack
* the molt (?)
* taco mailman (?)
* promo for the MTV season #2
* Manzelle (From the CBS days)
and others i dont remember the names of. best of all, there were live performances, like a live enactment of "tenement" and best of all, in the finale, barry and levon, louie and doug, singing "piano man" with vocal rendition by joe lotruglio.
i know i'm pretty much butchering up the entire nite, but i gotta head to sleep.
and i saw Lynch, but he doesnt know me, so i didnt say anything. and in case anyone went, i was the guy who asked "what was the deal with all the minute maid on stage".
hopefully, at the bottom is a pic of barry and levon, louie, and doug.
