: To some people, myself included, quality conversation and dialogue are far more important than visual imagery.
I never said that it would have been more impoprtant to show instead of tell. I only "Suggested" that it might have been more "Interesting" or even funny to see Loki flip God off, etc.
: As exciting as visual stimulation can be, the strength of the conversation and dialogue can be the difference between a good film and a great one.
The conversation they were having was getting the back story out. I also said that the conversation would stay in "Along" with the visuals. And I repeat. It was only a "suggestion", not a complaint. I loved the film. Hence the 15th time watching it part in my original post.
: Fortunately, this is an area where Kevin excels,
Amen to that!
: and we all benefit from it.
Amen again!
: And constructive criticism is one thing,
That's what i was offering. Nothing else.
: but until you become a successful filmmaker yourself,
Have you ever heard about why you shouldn't ASS.U.ME anything?
The less a man makes declaritive statements, then the less apt he is to look foolish in retrospect.
: you may want to be a little more conscious of how you word your comments. You did not come off too well with how you expressed your opinion.
What was so hard to understand about it? You seemed to get it. You wrote so much about it in your post.
