If you said that, say, Grosse Pointe Blank was great and Lynch said it was horrible, I'd back you all the way. But you're defending the merits of one of the most inept comedies I've seen since the heyday of Guttenburg. Didn't you even call it "brilliant"? I think you'll meet with resistance floating this theory in just about every conceivable forum, outside of perhaps a first grade school for mentally-disabled children that had never seen a movie before Dude, Where's My Car.
You're wrong and you lack taste. Now shut your yap and go rent a few comedies where at least one joke succeeds. There may be hope for you yet.
