Some stuff on this board is off topic. So what? People discuss stuff that others think is irrelevant. These people get flamed by the others who seem to think they have a right and a reason to self-police this board, their reason being that it states in the guidelines that all posts should be on topic. Well, despite the stupid hypocrisy in their actions - more space is wasted with the on-topic/off-topic debate than any other subject here on the board - they are also ignoring other guidelines that they signed up to when they registered with the board... I quote from the Registration screen:
"Violations include, but are not limited to, harrassment of other posters, pretending to be someone else, 'spam,' 'flaming,' and/or any attempt to undermine the security of this system. Determination of what constitutes a violation is at the sole discretion of the board administrators.".
So maybe some kids could bear this in mind before they clutter the place up with "That's Off Topic" crap in the future. It's just as relevant as the on/off topic guideline.
I mention this only because some of the stuff on this board can be interesting from time to time, both on and off topic. It's all the arguing that pisses me off. I don't want to have to wade through mounds of shit spewed from little boys who seem to think that you can actually demonstrate testosterone levels on a computer screen.
