Hey, in "End is Forever", the upcoming album by the punk band The*Ataris, there is a song that mentions east NJ, and mentions Clerks and the Quick Stop.
The song, titled "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right..." goes like this:

okay,
today was a good day
I didn't even have to use my AK
at least I didn't get my heart broken anyway
wasting time in east new jersey
cuz I can tell you about the snow-covered rooftops
such that shooting stars and picturesque backdrops
I remember when we hung out at Quick Stop
pretending that I was in "Clerks"
CHORUS:
sometimes you gotta stop and remember
you're not gonna live forever
be young,
stay smart
stay true, but just follow your heart

then it goes into a long instrumental part, then it goes back and starts the second verse

and anyone who doesn't know the*ataris yet, you've gotta check them out..

they are kinda nofx/get up kids/old blink 182/mxpx-esque emo-pop-punk

I'm out,
John

ps: KEVIN,
what artists do you plan on using for JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK soundtrack?

please bring back WEEZER for this soundtrack (from Mallrats soundtrack) for this one, they are back together and pumpin' and it would be great re-exposure for them!
